These clocks are better than retro, they are still made from the original molds right here in the USA. These are the real thing! There are differently decorated ones, but they all come from the same original molds. If you want one with jewels, you can buy them from the Kit Cat website. Also, the Kit Cat site has a full range of replacement parts if you ever need them. I had to replace the eyes on mine after a move, and got them from Kit Cat with no problem. I've had mine for years and love it!

I was very excited to get my new clock that I ordered thorugh AMAZON. I needed the batteries--so I had brand new ones. When I put them in the clock--it did not work. I kkept rechecking to see if I had put the batteries in wrong...no...I need to return the clock. I think I will try again. If a second one does not work, I think I will bag it.

This kit cat wall clock is small and really too expensive for plastic. Had I not shopped last minute I would have returned it. The clock works fine but it's not fairly priced for what you get. Disappointed in product but not in Amazon's service.
